Stop delegating your task

Maybe you think the title of my article as a joke. How could I dare to violate the standard of leadership that has long been used of people. Is not delegating is one of the important skills in leadership? I earnestly invite you to stop delegating your tasks to anyone in your office. Although the 'technical delegation' is very suitable for the transfer of responsibility to others, or it could be a reason to complain about the unpreparedness of others in accepting assignments that we give; but 'delegating' is no longer able to meet the challenges of leadership in this era. So, you should just quit delegating tasks to others.

So far, we believe that to be able to effectively perform the function of leadership, one must be skilled at delegating tasks. At least, that's taught in training classes and leadership books. However, we often forget the real world is not always in line with theories that are taught. Is not that the theory is inconsistent with our actual needs on the ground, should be left alone? For those of you who are interested to accompany me to learn to understand that the delegation is no longer relevant to the leadership challenges we face, I was invited to start by applying 5 Natural Intelligence capabilities following:

1. Be aware that the responsibility we can not be transferred to others. There is always a tempting opportunity to throw the responsibility to others. That way we have more free time, and could berkeja with more relaxed. Try to remember back, how many leaders are throwing their responsibilities to subordinates, and then blame them when the results were judged unsatisfactory? Not a few leaders who are caught up in blaming this kind of mental. In fact, just as you are not satisfied if your salary transferred to someone else, then so is the professional responsibility that you bear; should not be transferred to others.

2. Realize that the delegation of causing others to feel ketiban your work. Ask yourself: Do you like the moment when someone gave the job to you? When you judge that he should do it yourself, then your little heart would say: "if i the kerjain perkejaan elo, elo doing then?" Perhaps, the people you give the delegates were saying the same words. But, of course, not out of their mouths. So, even if they invite you to delegate your work, they expect you to do it to someone else. Anyone do their origin.

3. Realize that no one liked the additional duties. How many jobs have you completed? Every year is always growing, right? The good news is, it does not only happen to you. Other people are also the same. Look at the people around you. In fact, the work they were already a lot, and even then still will grow again from year to year. Now, let's imagine if they had a lot of work was compounded by the delegation that you provide to them. Roughly, they received the delegation was happy or not huh?To find the answer, you can ask yourself: if someone gives you an additional task. I doubt if you accept it gladly. Why? Because, basically, no one likes the extra duty.

4. Realize that people can accept an assignment with a sense of necessity. If one can not accept additional duties gladly, even if accepted it would mean he had to do with feelings. Maybe they were forced to because of fear. May fear being scolded, because they often get angry. May fear the layoffs because they often hear someone easily sing a song titled 'fire'. It may also be fear of being called disloyal, and so many other possibilities that make them forced to accept it. The types of keterpakasaan can only be understood if you are wearing clothing labeled empathy.

5. Realize that you can not expect much from those who felt forced. Your reputation is largely determined by the quality completion of your duties and responsibilities entailed. Therefore, someone who wants to maintain its reputation remains good must ensure that no defects in any of his work. So, what can we expect from people who feel compelled to do something other than work at random? It's too risky to delegate your tasks that are important to others. Since you can not expect the quality of work and achievements of those who bully feel forced.

If you still have doubts about what I am describing; you're not alone. It is not easy to escape from the grip-long grip is already ingrained. Even many who insisted on saying: "My enjoy-enjoy aja tuch with assignments that I give." They say: "If mendelagasikannya correctly, certainly not the case the negative things like that." However, it was time to test re premises delegation of your convictions. Hopefully all five aspects of the above can give an idea of how the delegation is no longer relevant to the context of leadership in this century. But ... if it's not delegate the task of leading the techniques that are reliable, then is there any other techniques that can be relied upon? Of course there is. What is it? May we have a long life to deal with it in the next article yes. Stay tune with us.

Small and sort vs Big And Long

By Dadang Kadarusman

Imagination allows us to concoct a way as someone who we have never met physically. So you have the image of pen pals you know the virtual world. I often experience it. People who first met with me saying: "Oh, it is nonetheless Kang Dada?". The incident was repeated again at a meeting with new board Alumni ITB Angkatan '89 after Saturday. Although the force, in college I rarely see them. Although both activists weight, but I was more activity outside the campus. "Kirain Dadang was tall and big body, so." So says my friend when she saw that I was actually short and small. Height 165 cm, weight 55 kg. I do not mind identifying themselves as a 'short and small'. Since both the vocabulary that is not the opposite of 'long and large'. So, yes just relax ...

However, we can not really escape from the dichotomy of long and short. Large and small. In the context of age, for example, we always pray that the person being repeated that year was awarded longevity. We also always wanted to be a great man, and do not want to be small. So, inevitably it must be acknowledged if we are more like a long and large, rather than a short and small. For those of you who are interested to accompany me to learn how to get a long and large, I was invited to start by applying 5 Natural Intelligence capabilities following:

1. Accept the fact that everything was rationed. Live and we die. Mate and our sustenance. Our fate. Everything is written in a ledger diharibaan God. That did not mean God's favoritism and authoritarian in determining everything, but increasingly assert that God already knows what will happen in our lives before our own experience. God already knows when and how we will die, that he had recorded in the book. So, please do not be too giddy if our life will be long or short because in the context of age, size does not matter. What makes it 'matter' is what we do in life that fill the quota we have it. Would be filled with good and productive actions or with malice and vanity of vanities.

2. Panjangkanlah 'useful life' you, instead of 'physical age'. Not only in fiction novels we can see how people drunk with longevity. In the real world too. In fact, we see the fact that among the men of an age long that many who are mentally return to the state during their young. Conversely, many people who have died but his work is still used by many people. His findings are still in use. His teachings are still followed. Sentences full of silver lining is still remembered. Are not they in essence this is a long life? Even your own frequently mention the name of someone who has died since centuries, is not it? Could we still called names by people who lived 500 years from now?

3. Besarkanlah value of the benefit of yourself instead of your body size. You have an envelope containing hundreds of millions of dollars. It is your excess money after deducting the allocation for the needs of decent living and other purposes. You have two options for using that money. First, go to a plastic surgeon, then you will stay young. The money was enough to make lifelong treatment. Second, go to the orphanage and then you put the envelope in front of the door with the message "To Renovated Homes That Leaky Roof". If you take the second option, then I guarantee that you will succeed in making the value of your life a lot bigger without having to buy new bras with larger numbers.

4. Trying to get a big and long. They say, there are only two possibilities why someone so loyal to the slogan 'size does not matter', namely size of his minimalist or pretending to be content with minimalist. I do not know exactly what not. But if you think about it: if we can get a long and large, why should continue to embrace the short and small? Imagine if you could have a longevity of up to 110 years. If you reach puberty at the age of 10 years baligh then that means you can cultivate charity and benevolence for 100 years. Is not the longevity and magnitude of the reward you collect it can be a stock very much to get the gift of God? The problem is, we do not know until what age do we come to life? So only one thing we can do, namely to multiply good deeds. If you can with the money, then do with money. If only the wise words, then do with encouraging each other in goodness. If it could only with good behavior, then the good behavior that does not harm another party had become good deeds. That way we get a big reward.

5. Optimizing a short and small. Everything is size. Including ourselves. If it's short genes and DNA or small would be converted into long and for what else? Come take it. 4th child my age is very short. He had died while in his mother's womb at 12 weeks gestation. We were sad. But more happy. We believe that the baby has returned up to the presence in a state of divine scriptures. We are already legally baligh This can not go back in a state of purity like a baby. However, we should be grateful for this gift of life even if our life short. We just follow our destiny though small, which means we really only suitable for small ones. It does not fit when we have a small gene performs a multitude of sins. Know am left a bit if you want to do a big sin. People who have a short and small size mah fitting short life filled with deeds that much, although it can only do small things.

Size does not matter. Could be yes, may not. As long as we are willing to accept yourself with sincerity, then the long or short our life will not be a concern. Hopefully in the long or short life, God allows us to collect life provision and reward in large numbers and away from sins to a nicety.

Ensiklopedi Leadership and Management Nabi Muhammad SAW "The Super Leader Super Manager"

Hingga akhirnya menjadi pengusaha tangguh nyaris tanpa Modal.

Volume 3 Menata Keluarga Harmonis
